Our paper on LXR agonism in T cell activation is out in JEM!
We’re delighted that our paper on LXR agonism conditioning T cells to be more effective in anti-tumor immunity is out in JEM.
We’re thrilled that our paper on the role of Liver-X-receptors in T cell effector function is out today in JEM. This was a project that started in Sohail Tavazoie’s lab in New York and that we completed in Berlin. It shows that pharmacological activation of LXRs puts T cells in a state that makes them more ready to adopt effector functions upon activation — an important trait in fighting cancer. Consistently, LXR agonism was efficient in driving anti-tumor immunity. You can read more about it here.
